The Radical Feminist Sisterhood functions with the intention of forming a community and giving back to women. Usually funded by our events, we try to inspire our members to give back

Vancouver Rape Relief

"We are the longest standing rape crisis centre in Canada. Since 1973, our group has responded to close to 52,000 (counted in August 2024) women seeking our support in their escape from male violence. Since we opened our transition house in 1981, we have housed over 3,000 women and over 2,600 children."

"Our Objectives" - Guria

  • To eliminate second generation prostitution
  •  To prevent child prostitution and trafficking of women and children for forced labor, prostitution, and other forms of sexual exploitation
  • To end sex tourism and discrimination in the name of HIV/AIDS
  • To empower women in prostitution to end their dependence on the criminal nexus that enslaves them
  • To advocate for improvements in government policy and law enforcement pertaining to trafficking and prostitution
  • To ensure that justice is achieved for the victims of human trafficking through involvement in the legal process.
  • To support and rehabilitate survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and other forms of sexual exploitation
  • To eliminate negative cultural attitudes and practices towards women in sex trade
  • To prevent human trafficking in vulnerable rural areas through livelihood support programs

 

Inchara Foundation

"Founded in 2006 in the Dakshina Kannada District (Mangalore), Inchara Foundation is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that addresses several core issues surrounding children, with innovative ideas and interventions. Inchara’s work has expanded to Bangalore, Dharwad, and COVID-19 relief activities in 5 states (Karnataka, Orissa ,WB, TN & Delhi). Through a diverse array of programming, Inchara seeks preventative and remedial measures around child sexual abuse. The organization also works towards safer childhoods by strengthening schools and communities, working directly with community leaders. Inchara also encourages healthy living standards through its health programs for both children and other community stakeholders. It continuously aims to develop novel solutions, as the first CCI in the district to implement CPP (Child Protection Policy). "

Women For Women International

"We support women survivors of war and conflict, providing them with social and economic skills to transform their own lives. Women pass their knowledge to those around them, creating a more just world—a world where every woman’s voice, role, and contributions valued."
